I guess you've all heard that our only means to listen to and record
digital audio has died over the past week... I would say rest in peace
but that thing was a pain in the ass. I don't know what I'll do with
it, Adam recommended a ceremonial destruction but who knows. We'll have
to get a new one soon if we expect to finish Glass Cannon's debut
album.
On a brighter note, no one was hurt during the incident. That's good.

Some bad news from last night as our mixing session was cut prematurely short by the sudden passing of the Firepod interface. This of course puts a crimp in our mixing and recording schedule. I wouldn't mind seeing a ceremonial cremation of the deceased interface, but as Bryan has pointed out, that may be giving that thing too much credit. That Firepod has been a pain since we've started using it. We'll figure out a solution soon enough, though.
But in good news, which always seems shorter, we're on our way to having another couple tunes ready to start practicing. We may even provide the aural pleasure of a 6 minute drum solo. Speaking of practicing, I'll have to fine-tune my blogging skills for future posts.
