The core Glass Cannon has been together for nearly 3 years. What started as a combo through the University of Missouri's excellent jazz department became a full fledged excursion for the members.

We are a 6 piece combo with two saxophones, one guitar, bass, piano, and percussion kit. We remain versatile enough to accommodate almost any stage configuration by only requiring minimal monitoring and microphone usage. Our sets can all vary but usually fall into hour sets with enough material to fill most nights.

Within the past year we've bloomed as a band composing and arranging completely original tunes that are heavily rooted in jazz, blues, funk and rock. While working on an album slated for an summer 08 release that will feature several tunes by members Adam Loftin and Bryan Helmig, we have been busy playing numerous shows around our local Columbia venues.
